I am also grateful for the chance to help teachers in their learning environment. I see all 'kids' having a 10 on their forehead and each is capable of achieving anything IF WE BELIEVE IN THEM. So what if they don't succeed at Maths or an English test!!! Is that how we gauge a person's talents? I certainly don't and hope you do not as well. For me, working on their self -esteem is far more important. THIS LEADS TO RESULTS AND A LOVE OF LEARNING. I get the opportunity to assist learners who struggle as well as those who are gifted. I'm still struggling with paying him for doing our own lawn since I see it as one of his chores....however I'm going to let it slide for now.
