		<description>Hey Rory

Thank you for your valued comments.

I totally agree with your comments about ADHD, especially when you say that they need to be taught differently.

I have a strong belief that many such kids don&#039;t have a learning
disability...they have a teaching disability.

By that I mean that teachers and other adults need to find out
how the kids learn and teach to their preferred learning style and
multiple intelligence.

Can you imagine how my teaching colleagues react to that!!!

I get the privilege of working with many ADHD kids every day
in my role as a Learning support teacher...I love them.. They
are so talented and have a personality.

I would love the chance to connect with you in the future.

Have a rewarding, memorable day.

		<description>Terry -

From the sounds of things, we seem to have some similar views on kids. While I do believe that ADHD is real and exists, I do not see it as a deficit or a disorder. I merely see it as a difference in brain wiring and brain function - which as you so eloquently nailed it - these kids need to be taught and reached differently than the archaic method of schools do today. Imagine that?

I could go on forever about this topic, and would welcome any opportunity to connect with you in the future. Perhaps we can rattle some cages together...and change lives along the way. ;-)

I look forward to continuing this conversation.
